Long before Mr. Vanilla and I lived together, we had been spending most nights in eachother’s beds. However, knowing that I get to wake up next to him virtually every day forever is still a thrill. It got me thinking of two favorite songs about Sunday mornings. Enjoy!

I think that the last woman sums things up pretty well. It isn’t for everyone but when it is right, it is just right. I’d assert that there are definitely times it can be as intense as the real thing.

It is interesting, because I had heard of Brooke Marks before seeing this video. I thought she was probably a run-of-the-mill cute blonde with a website. Nothing more, nothing less. Then I saw this video of her lampooning the cam girl craze and I thought, “This chicky has a wicked sense of humor.” In the tradition of loving and lusting after people that are sexy enough not to take themselves to seriously, check out this video:

I think she is cute as a button and the “Babe Seger” part almost killed me! She has several more hysterical videos – maybe I’ll post those another day ;)

I’ll admit to being a bit out of touch with pop culture lately. I decided awhile ago to stop paying attention to music and just listen to old things that I haven’t discovered yet.

Recently, I’ve been reading gossip blogs every day and have noticed a lot of blah blah blah about Amy Winehouse. She seems like a real train wreck and I had to Google her to figure out if I’d heard her stuff before. Yeah, I have and it turns out that she is backed by the Dap Kings. So, I give to you a really good Sharon Jones song. No, Sharon Jones isn’t a strung out, skinny, white girl with only mildly convincing breast implants. But she has a damn good voice. And I think this song is a lot sexier than anything I’ve heard from Winehouse.

This band has been in my listening rotation for awhile and I think that anyone that manages to make giant piles of licorice allsorts sexy deserves some props.

I don’t think I need to understand Japanese to “get” this.

Chris Cocker is a genius. He has managed to capture me *exactly* as I sound when I’m on the phone. Brilliant! ;)
