I think that the last woman sums things up pretty well. It isn’t for everyone but when it is right, it is just right. I’d assert that there are definitely times it can be as intense as the real thing.

Recently, I’ve been reading gossip blogs every day and have noticed a lot of blah blah blah about Amy Winehouse. She seems like a real train wreck and I had to Google her to figure out if I’d heard her stuff before. Yeah, I have and it turns out that she is backed by the Dap Kings. So, I give to you a really good Sharon Jones song. No, Sharon Jones isn’t a strung out, skinny, white girl with only mildly convincing breast implants. But she has a damn good voice. And I think this song is a lot sexier than anything I’ve heard from Winehouse.

This past Memorial Day was one of the best days I’ve had all summer. J and I woke up, processed the fact that we were completely broke and endeavored to find a way to have an awesome day anyway. After a quick dip we enjoyed a pleasant lunch and poked around making sand castles for awhile. On a similar whim, I decided to make a quick home movie and then decided to record Bedroom Radio 11 with my digital camera. When I got home I didn’t like it and never posted it.
